What
Located in Prague, Czechia, the Dancing House is a mixed-use building on the Rašín Embankment along the Vltava River. Designed by Frank Gehry, it occupies a prominent corner south of the Prague main tourist area. It’s composed of two parts, static and dynamic (“yin and yang”), symbolizing the change of Czechoslovakia from communism to democracy.

It’s initially quite the contrast from the staid Rašín Embankment, from a form perspective. But on a longer look, even though the form of the embankment seems kind of stodgy, its bright colors gives it a playfulness that go right along with feeling of the Dancing Houses.
We visited in March 2022.
